About the Company
Janet Klaer has worked in the sewing, needlework and quilting industries. She’s an authority on notions and has been the Director of Education for Coats & Clark and The Armo Company. She was also a contributing editor to Sew News magazine and wrote the “Making Connections” column for many years, sourcing hard-to-find notions for readers. She was a consultant to major notions distributors and introduced heat-resistant nylon snaps and curved safety pins to the American market under the W.H. Collins brand. In 1996, she founded Klaer International, marketing and distributing her own line of needle threaders. Klaer needle threaders are made and packaged in the USA.
